Charlotte He - President
Charlotte is a grade 12 student at Stratford Hall Secondary School. She has been passionate about dance and performance. She began learning Latin dance at the age of six and later explored K-pop dance, continuing to train and participate in competitions over the years. At school, she also serves as the leader of the Dance Club, where she leads students in learning and performing K-pop choreography in school events. Her long-standing experience in dance and performance has shaped her passion for bringing people together through the arts. As the President of Strings of Culture, she hopes to create meaningful connections between generations through music, dance, and cultural exchange.
Coco Lyu - Vice President
Coco Lyu is a Grade 11 student at Crofton House School in Vancouver. She is interested in business and entrepreneurship, and enjoys marketing, creative projects, and collaborating with others. Outside of school, she pursues art and dance and spends time with friends. Coco values creativity, teamwork, and responsibility, and hopes to make a positive impact in her community.
Aliyah Xu - Vice President
As an incoming Grade 12 student, Aliyah is currently attending University Hill Secondary School, and she is ecstatic to once again serve AOC. She is brimming with enthusiasm and is ready to host a variety of fun and impactful events throughout the 2025-2026 year.Aliyah will bring to AOC his passionate spirit, not only for music, but also for communicating and engaging with others in the year ahead.
Vivian Ding - Secretory
Secretory Vivian Ding is a Grade 10 junior student at Point Grey Secondary School. She is passionate about music and has a special love for singing. She enjoys sharing her voice through performances at local senior homes, hoping to bring warmth and joy to the residents, and is grateful for every opportunity to use her singing to make others smile
Harry Zhong - Chief Outreach and Public Relations Officer
Serving as District Director for White Rock AOC, Harry is an ambitious grade 11 student in Grandview Heights Secondary School driven by a keen interest in strategic leadership and data analysis. He thrives on tackling complex challenges, cultivating meaningful connections, and fostering collaborative growth across his team. Aspiring to pursue a future in applied mathematics. Harry continually seeks opportunities to broaden his intellectual horizons and refine his executive capabilities. Beyond his academic and leadership pursuits, he enjoys single engine flying and engaging with his local community. Guided by the core principles of integrity, adaptability, and vision, Harry believes that empathetic leadership empowers communities to achieve transformative results. He remains dedicated to leading White Rock AOC with purpose and driving sustained positive impact.
Ziyi Zhao - Performance Director
Ziyi Zhao is a senior at Magee Secondary School in Vancouver, and she is honored to be the Chief Marketing Officer Assistant of the Vancouver Youth Mathematical Modeling Foundation. With a strong passion for mathematics, she is especially interested in applying concepts can be used to solve real-world challenges, which inspires her to keep learning and improving. She manages the organization’s budgeting, fundraising, and partnership initiatives. Beyond academics, she finds balance through her hobbies—Singing, playing the piano, playing the violin, and playing badminton. She uses these hobbies to participate in various rehearsals and performances of the school choir and orchestra, which help her stay creative, focused, and resilient. She looks forward to engaging with peers in the organization, contributing her enthusiasm for math.

Louise Xue - Lead Performer
Louise is a Grade 10 student at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver. She has a strong interest in Mathematics and enjoys solving problems. Outside of school, she actively participates in volunteer work and enjoys communicating with people from different backgrounds. In her free time, she likes playing the guitar, practicing Chinese calligraphy, playing badminton, and exploring new hobbies. She values teamwork, responsibility, and kindness, and hopes to continue learning, contributing to her community, and making a positive impact.
Eric Huang - Lead Performer
Eric Huang is a Grade 10 student at Lord Byng Secondary School in Vancouver with a strong passion for Mathematics, Physics, and
Computer Science, who enjoys tackling complex problems through analytical reasoning and hands-on coding projects while aspiring to pursue a career in engineering or technology.
Beyond academics, Eric is a dedicated runner
who believes in the power of relentless training, spending countless hours pushing his limits on the track to constantly improve his personal bests, and he actively volunteers in his community by helping with food drives, running clinics for younger kids, and participating in local clean-up events. Abby Li - Lead Performer
Abby is a grade 10 student studying at Mulgrave School in West Vancouver. She is currently a student in the IB MYP program with a strong interest in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Abby enjoys challenging herself academically and is especially interested in applying scientific concepts to real-world problems. Outside of school, she finds herself enjoying creative activities such as piano, art, design, singing, and dance. Abby looks forward to working with peers in the organization and hopes to create a meaningful impact on the community.
Darren Rao - Lead Performer
Darren Rao is a rising Grade 12 student at Lord Byng Secondary School with strong interests in biology, research, and community involvement. He especially enjoys exploring biology through hands-on experiences that take what he learns in the classroom further, with particular interests in genetics, microbiology, as well as human health. Outside the classroom, Darren is a competitive table tennis player, and the sport has shaped his discipline while teaching him resilience and the importance of teamwork. He is also involved in student leadership and community service, where he enjoys contributing to projects that bring people together and make a meaningful local impact. In his spare time, Darren likes to cook, play violin, spend time with friends, and try different sports or activities. He hopes to keep pursuing his interests with curiosity while meeting new people and taking on new challenges.
Selena Jiang - Lead Performer
She is a Grade 10 student at Lord Byng Secondary School who is always willing to explore new things and take on challenges with an open and adaptable mindset. She demonstrates strong leadership skills, shows great persistence in her work and activities, and is able to stay committed and responsible when working with others. She enjoys collaborating with peers, takes the initiative to support the team, and works hard to achieve shared goals. Outside of academics, she participates choir, dance, playing drums, and in the school choir, which help her develop creativity, focus, and a well-rounded personality. She is highly motivated to keep learning and growing, and she is eager to bring her dedication, positive attitude, and strong sense of responsibility to meaningful opportunities within the community.

A grade 11 student at Point Grey Secondary School, GiaZhang is a general member of AOC Foundation. She is fortunate to work in AOC Foundation, and she wishes to inspire others to take actions. She is looking forward to having a great time with all team members.

Andrew Ming - Media Manager
Andrew Ming is a Grade 10 student at Heritage Woods Secondary School in Port Moody. Andrew has strong passions for Biology and Math. He hopes to one day study in the field of Medicine or other fields related to Biology. Outside of school, Andrew routinely does volunteer work around his community, including street cleanup. Andrew also likes to participate in competitive Badminton and has joined his school team to compete in tournaments for his school. Alongside Badminton, Andrew is an avid Rubik’s Cube competitor who has competed in numerous competitions and continually set multiple personal records. Andrew approaches everything he does with a strong sense of teamwork, perseverance, and determination. He is determined to make an impact on the community while continuing to challenge himself to step outside his comfort zone and grow through new experiences.
